About Me

My photo
Well, where do I start? I could start at many stages in my life; all very exciting and adventurous in some sort of way. Probably best to start when I met my husband 10 years ago, as this was the turning point in my very emotional and dramatic life. Met Ben through work, we had a wonderful life together, very ambitious, career driven until we decided to started a family 4 years later. The fertility Journey did take 2 years to conceive but we got there eventually and conceived little Thomas, now for someone like me who has no patience what so ever this was a agonizing and stressful wait but well worth it. We moved from our home town Bournemouth to Ipswich with Ben's work, I gave up my careern and then married in Cumbria in 2009. We continued to have 2 more children very easily compared to Thomas, Jesiica and Baby Wilson.
One of the main reasons I have set up this blog is to gather advice and information on how I can be guided through my Journey into Christianity. "We need others around us who know Jesus. Who want God to influence their lives", "The Spiritual Starter Kit" Lesson # 5 - The value of other believers.
I am not perfect nor do I want to be, I am not here to change the world, or the way people think. I am just here to be happy and put the past behind me, wash away all the pain and view the world differently to the way I see it today. I want to be happy in no matter what I do, feel completeness and at peace with the world and admire all the beautiful things it has to offer me, my family and all my beautiful friends. I know this can happen it is just a matter of believing!

Please, I urge you to join my site and welcome any thoughts you may have or advice that will help me on my way! This site would not work without your input. Please note I am dyslexic, so, if anyone wishes to volunteer to edit my posts, by all means feel free.

Psalm 16:5-8

Psalm 16:5-8
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

5 Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup;
you have made my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.

7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I have set the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.

Silent

Job 13:5 (NIV)

If only you would be altogether silent! For you, that would be wisdom.

Proverbs 21:1

Proverbs 21:1
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
21 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord;
he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

Jeremiah 29:11-13
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Change of heart

Will he have a change of heart!!

Has my hopes and dreams come to an end. "the Bible says that He can turn the heart of a king just like a watercourse,". I just wish he would do one of the following now:
Change his heart- or alter my outlook which ever one it is i wish and pray that God would do something quickly as it is breaking my heart every second of the day!

Smiling again

Thank you so much God for guiding me in the right direction and giving me the strength to ask the right person the right questions. Thank you to the lovely lady at church that always inspires me when she gets up and talks in church. My faith has been restored again. I feel good when I smile.

Personality Conclusion - Nobody is perfect

Ok, after doing lots of researching and sole searching, I have come to the conclusion that you cannot be liked by everyone, that we all have faults. I do miss having parents; which means that I put more enphisis on trying to make new friends, probably too easily and than wanting more than they can give. After all I am only human. What I do understand out of all this, is, I am a perfectionist and control freak, I like things done properly and my way. Life is not like this and nor are a lot of people out there. I do thoroughly enjoy being around people and people fascinate me just not the ones who when they see me run!!!! lol. I need to put myself in an environment where I am needed and able to use my God given gifts. I feel I could really do some good out in that cruel harsh world out there.

My personality and excepting your not liked by everyone

Ok this defo sums me up!!
No wonder some people look at me funny!!!!
How do you stop worrying about what people think about you. I hate the fact that I want to be liked by everyone. I just like people, cannot help it!!
It just hurts when people look at me funny and ignore me.
And, yes, I do get the feeling that I am to happy some times, have got too much enthusiasm..

The Sanguine’s Emotions
*Compulsive talker
*Exaggerates and elaborates
Dwells on trivia
Can’t remember names
Scares others off
Too happy for some
*Has restless energy
Egotistical
Blusters and complains
*Naive, gets taken in
*Has loud voice and laugh
*Controlled by circumstances
Gets angry easily
*Seems phony to some
*Never Grows Up

Am I one of those people that other people only like in small doses, if so for someone like me who likes to be around other people and be liked, how do you cope with this emotion, as it feels like rejection every time.

I am sure knowing what I am like is the first part of dealing with these emotions and situations. Any of you out there like me and feel the way I do?

*Compulsive talker

Sanguine

Sanguine
The sanguine temperament is fundamentally impulsive and pleasure-seeking; sanguine people are sociable and charismatic. They tend to enjoy social gatherings, making new friends and tend to be boisterous. They are usually quite creative and often daydream. However, some alone time is crucial for those of this temperament. Sanguine can also mean sensitive, compassionate and romantic. Sanguine personalities generally struggle with following tasks all the way through, are chronically late, and tend to be forgetful and sometimes a little sarcastic. Often, when they pursue a new hobby, they lose interest as soon as it ceases to be engaging or fun. They are very much people persons. They are talkative and not shy. Sanguines generally have an almost shameless nature, certain that what they are doing is right. They have no lack of confidence.

Any one have this book I can borrow?

Church and it's importance to me!

"The Home for your Spirit: Where You Pray
Finally, the home for your spirit is your relationship with God as expressed through your church community and religious tradition. This may be the one that gets ignored or short-changed the most. It is ironic that we all seem to have a subconscious desire to be our own highest authority, but we can’t really handle the responsibility, so that trying to be our own higher power only leads to more stress. What we really need is to belong to something bigger than ourselves, where we are not the highest authority, and where we can submit to a power greater than ourselves. That power should be our Creator, and the something bigger than ourselves is the faith community to which we belong. In this way, we will also find some of the love and acceptance that we need...
Spiritual Blueprint, and the Five Homes method, will help you remodel or rebuild each of your five homes, so that you can live more intentionally, and have more peace and hope"

How did God Create Us?

"God has created us with the capacity for real love and the need for real companionship. The giving and receiving of love and acceptance is essential for a healthy and happy life".

I am the Saguine Temperament!

Ok, I am starting to understand better, why I am the way I am!!!
So from the research I have just done, as I am so embarrassed to ask other people how they find me, is that I have a personallity/temperament of Sanguine Temperament. As I clicked on the following site and read it , it made me smile and even want to cry! I was asking God to direct me and show me wisdom; and maybe he just has! Just not quite sure I want to be happy about this temperment or sad! Will have to read more!

http://temperaments.info/sanguine.htm

Maybe if I understand what I am  like and why I think the thoughts I do I may be able to deal with my feelings about life and other people better! I am way to sensitive but this must be for a reason.

"Sanguine In Inclusion...
Inclusion is the area of relationships that has to do with society and superficial relationships. If you are a Sanguine in Inclusion, you have a need for a great deal of social interaction. You enjoy the company of others. You prefer to be with others rather than being alone, and will actively seek out social contact much of the time.
A Sanguine in Inclusion is the life of the party. They have a real need for the attention of others. St. Peter was no doubt a Sanguine. At the site of the transfiguration, he is ready to set up three tents to entertain the guests! Too bad we could not find a picture of Peter looking more like the Sanguine that he was!
One interesting characteristic of the Sanguine temperament is a tendency to exaggerate. A good time is remembered as a terrific event. A modest accomplishment becomes a major victory.
Most Sanguines will not even perceive these exaggerations as untruthful, but rather they tend to believe their own hyperbole.
Strengths of those blessed with this temperament include:
Being Friendly and Approachable
Inspirational to Others
Very Relationship Oriented
Genuinely Liking People
Perennially Optimistic
Parents of Sanguine In Inclusion children are frequently dismayed. The parents work very hard during the formative years to provide discipline and structure. As they enter adulthood, these same children will revert to behaviors that the parents thought had been thoroughly dealt with.
The fact is that Sanguines in Inclusion are relatively weak-willed, and easily succumb to temptation. Sanguines find it nearly impossible to deny themselves. One of the keys to helping Sanguines overcome their problems is to be sure they know their emotional needs can be met, and that they risk losing their ability to meet those needs unless they correct their behavior. Providing love and affection as a reward for right behavior has been known to help many a Sanguine discipline themselves into appropriate behavior.
To keep a Sanguine healthy and happy, know that they need:
To be the center of attention.
To be accepted rather than rejected.
To have plenty of social interaction.
To be employed in a situation that provides plenty of human contact in addition to their tasks.
To have plenty of activity. A tired Sanguine is a happy Sanguine.
To be praised and honored for their achievements.
To be complemented for their work.
To receive plenty physical attention, kisses, hugs, etc.
To really understand how the different temperaments work, how they blend, and how they interact, you are invited to experience the course Created In God's Image."

Romans 8:1-39

Romans 8:1-39 ESV / 12 helpful votes

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. ...
